Probably a dumb question, but what is the Cleary Jell-o Mold/Spittoon?::help::

Give My Regards

Officially the "William J. Cleary Cup", it's the rather-recently-created trophy (2001, maybe?) that goes to the ECAC(H)'s regular-season champion.
If you lead a good life, go to Sunday school and church, and say your prayers every night, when you die, you'll go to LYNAH!

I was at Lynah the night Shafer cleared the puck out of the o zone and into the Harvard bench and missed Cleary by inches or feet....1985 or 1986, classic stuff when the old guy jumped up on the dasher and screamed at Shaf.....might have gotten a minor penalty out of it. Same night he broke his stick over his head during pre-game!  Na, different yr.

Different year.  We won the broken stick game.  Se lost the slapshot game by about 11-3.

broken stick....down 5-0, win 6-5? Fawcett was a sieve? I tried to forget the 11-3 debacle.

In the broken stick game we were trailing 4-0 and came back to win 6-5.  Schafer had the go-ahead goal.

The slapshot game was one of the most unpleasant evenings in Lynah history.

I wondered how long it would take for you to reply. That game shows why I hate the winning goal stat. Schafer had the key goal (obviously all the goals were key), but no credit since we got another and Harvard got a fifth at the end.
