In news the Cornell Daily Sun apparently considers important enough to be "breaking," Obama campaign manager David Plouffe will be this year's convocation speaker at Cornell.

It wasn't a slam, I was just amused.  Normally that's reserved for stuff like a gorge-diver or a new university president.
