Whether or not we would "trade Scrivens" or simply acknowledge mediocre play, he certainly should have stopped goals 2 & 3 last night.  They were not difficult shots, with the second occurring at an angle outside of the circle and the third slipped under his stick when he was caught cheating to move right.  Though both goals aren't exactly his fault, they could be stopped by several D1 goalies and certainly he should have stopped those two goals.  Again, I am not placing blame for the loss on him (we certainly played a very questionable 3rd period), but he could have performed better to give the team an improved chance.

that didn't do it justice... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib_rpKdAjac

It's one of those that you always remember what you were, what you were doing at the time.  Yes, in front of a tv watching the game.  Well, pain is an understatement, haha.  Nonetheless, much thanks to badger, and they certainly were a pleasure to play and have always had a competitive and respectable program.

It's quite simple.  Violators are escorted out by both a rink usher and the nearest police officer.  You are then asked for your ID, which if you don't have (or claim not to have) is a violation of campus code of conduct.  At this point, an individual either shows their ID or is referred to the JA for failure to comply with a university official.  For most of us who have future applications for jobs, school, etc, we show the ID card and forfeit the remaining tickets.  It sucks.  Especially when you purposefully refuse to swear because you're staring right back at the usher looking at you.  Oh well... there's no fighting the system.

I couldn't agree more.  This was one of the best ref'd games I've seen in 4 years here, especially since the NCAA started calling games more strictly and keeping an eye out for obstruction.  Compared to Dell, Feola, and Hansen, MacDonald seemed to show proper restraint and was definitely very fair.  God, I hate Dell so much...
Still a little irked by some of the complaints/generalizations about usher behavior this year...I have not had one issue or problem with them this year, and personally have not seen any behavior by any ushers in the C/D/F areas that struck me as anything but kind, courteous, or helpful.
Sections A and B haven't been as lucky.

To explain a little (unfortunately):

1.  AD demands that the tickets be returned by a certain date, otherwise the JA gets a referral for failure to comply.  This does result in a refund of the remaining unused tickets, however.
2.  As you've mentioned, the individual can acquire tickets through some other means and still attend games, because it would be extremely rare for an usher to remember the person they threw out (Considering the ticket holder in this case was not even thrown out, recognition would be impossible).

To sum up, I highly doubt any excuses would work (ie. not receiving the email).  The JA referral will occur if the tickets are not returned.  Of course, one might argue their case there, but I would assume it could still only pertain to the "failure to comply" issue, not the AD policy regarding revocation.  Also, is it worth the risk of going to the JA when one can receive a refund and use that money to buy single tickets to each game?  That choice would depend on the individual, though.

I would also say that it's not the drummer's fault.  Sure, starting at a slower tempo would remedy the situation; however, the drummer's currently chosen beat is fine until the clapping and cheering starts to rush.  Unfortunately, the drums are not heard very well at the other end of the rink, which only adds to the confusion.

Well, after purposefully not participating in "See ya ..., you goon" because I saw an usher watching me the whole game, I was removed anyway for supposedly using profanity in that cheer.  Yeah, good times...
