Quote from: Kyle RoseYeah, and be careful about that, because last night there was a similar problem and they jacked the volume up instantaneously and without any warning at one point.  You really would be deaf if you were doing this and that happened.

The same thought occurred to me when I was initially checking for sound.  I didn't think my thesis advisor would appreciate having to pantomime the finer details of molecular biology during my lab meeting.  ::looking::

For those of you watching on REDCast...

...anybody having troubles with the volume?  I literally have to rest my ear on the speakers in order to hear anything, despite the volume settings on high.  Did I become deaf in the last ten minutes?

Is there a B2 stream for tomorrow?
No.  Get thee to a sports bar or find a friend with DirecTV.
Or find a friend with RCN.

Well, I walked into the last night's game expecting Harvard to win (I had seen BU at Northeastern two weeks ago and saw Harvard play this past Friday).  After the 1st period though, I remember feeling that BU was going to win the game given the way they were playing (obviously did not happen).  I think the problem with BU is not lousy effort, but consistent effort during all three periods.

According to the jumbotron during last night's BU-Harvard game, there are still tickets for Saturday's game available through the BU athletic office.

Whether or not the jumbotron lies, I don't know. :-P
They always do that when the ref passes by before the teams come out, chanting "take our money." Sometimes they wave credit cards and chant "take our credit." I've never seen them do it to another team.
Ah.  Many thanks for the explanation.

Hockey / Yale waving money?
March 04, 2007, 06:12:03 PM
OT but somewhat related to Saturday's Harvard-Yale game at Bright:  At the start of the second period, members of the Yale band were waving dollar bills over the glass at the Harvard team as they were skating around in their defensive zone (and yelling something I couldn't quite catch).  Does anyone know why?  I'm just curious.

The Harvard-Yale game was interesting to watch, but I'm looking forward to this weekend's games--LGR!  :-)

I think it's less how old you are and more how embarrassingly bad my memory is...::blush::

Thanks for the translation guys.

I just got through, and the guy who answered was pretty helpful (read:  it fixed the problem).  I suppose all I can say is be very patient.

I'm having the same problem--calling doesn't seem to help...no one's answering.
