Hockey / Re: CU & ECAC Tourney on TV

FWIW: Looks like all games will be available live online, via B2...

From the ECAC site: (http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2009-10/news/20101403_ChampionshipFinals)

"All games will be televised live via the NHL Network and Fox College Sports (championship game only) and streamed live via B2 Networks. Access to the B2 Networks broadcasts can be gained via the League Web site."

Didn't DirecTV block Tompkins County from Empire or NESN in 03? Can't remember, but yeah, I'm worried about this too. Would totally suck.   ::worry::

Rumors are always rumors until they've been officially announced.

That said, the ROOF will not be raised, even when the money is.

Athletics campaign is officially over, though there are some remaining funding opportunities. Lynah renovation was never part of that campaign.

Roof will not be raised.

I was in the front row of O (sucks) for the Brown game, and you were the loudest fan I've ever heard at any sporting event anywhere. I thought as a section we were pretty good considering what you usually get from Section O (sucks). You had some woman behind me peeing her pants.

Thanks for picking up my Kill Schafer Kill chant at the end of period 2 when he was "negotiating" with Hansen the Horrible. I couldn't say what I really wanted to say... Small children present.

[q]$90 in car costs
$100 for the hotel room
$50 for dinner, maybe you go out for beers afteward
$25 for breakfast,
then it's like $305 vs. $285 for the weekend if you're a adult who doesn't crash on somebody's floor.[/q]

The smell of raw fish at Lynah...

Priceless

Hey Age: Cleaned my cookie jar this afternoon, and when I refreshed the forum home page (php?1), the entire message area was blank. Couldn't view anything until I logged in. Didn't used to be this way so I thought you should know.

Hockey / Who to thank for video feed
March 15, 2004, 12:11:55 PM
Besides Al, (Thanks Al), is there someone in Athletics that we could e-mail to thank for making the live video available. I think all of us who benefitted from it owe them a note of appreciation, with hopes that they will continue to offer it.

Even if it was sort of depressing...

Thanks for the reminder about acceleration.

Yeah, I've learned that about following the action and not the puck, but even still, sometimes you want to know where the puck is. Last night from behind Clarkson Sucks bench I missed everything--puck and players--in the near corners. Plus I had to watch the smirk on Nickerson's face every time he came off the ice. The whole team was wearing eye black, I guess in tribute to their "bruised" comrade.

I can never folow the puck anyway. Gosh how I loved that corny glowing puck from FOX's first attempts NHL broadcasting. :`(

Hockey / Internet video

Since I can't get to the game tonight and need to root from home, thought I'd ask how the quality has been on the prior two broadcasts? Anyone watched via DSL or anything slower than cable with success?
