Jordan 04 Wrote: I think Barry does a fairly good job, especially considering he's flying solo. My one pet peeve with him is when he is announcing a made basket, he doesn't say that someone has made a basket; rather, he says "Puts up a bank shot!" in a higher-pitched and louder voice. Yeah, I didn't mean to knock Barry. He's fine, but these guys are just better. And it's noby Molgestron - Hockey

35-27 Cuse at the half. SU finally started playing in the last few minutes. By the way, if you're listening in the Ithaca area, use 100.3 FM. It's the Syracuse feed and it's hundreds of times better than Barry Leonard.by Molgestron - Hockey

Now 27-16 Cornell after a slow start. Ryan Rourke has 12 so far I believe.by Molgestron - Hockey

Section A Banshee Wrote: No offense to Elliott because he was a nice guy, but man, that is the first time I've heard an interview where the player was more well-spoken than the interviewer. Zow. "What's your favorite thing about Cornell other than hockey?" "Going home." Hilarious! I have a friend who works at CSTV.com and sits right next to Elliott. From all accby Molgestron - Hockey

Re: Lynah East (and possibly Dartmouth) Roll Call - 18 years ago
I'm going to both, with a group of CU alumni at Harvard, and an ex at Dartmouth. Is it worthwhile getting Dartmouth tickets in advance or should I not anticipate a problem? She checked it out for me and she said that the guy at the Dartmouth ticket office laughed at her when she asked if I would need a ticket beforehand but I just wanted to make sure.by Molgestron - Hockey

Killer Wrote: Oh, and a final note for those of you dreaming up cheers and taunts for upcoming games - Dartmouth has a freshman forward by the name of Swallow. Oh, that poor bastard, when he comes to Lynah. Kevin Swallow was on the U-18 team two years ago and paid a visit to Lynah. Section D rode him all game (Bryan Lerg also, incidentally). After that welcome, I can't imagine he's happy aboby Molgestron - Hockey
Re: INCH "Dream Team" - 18 years ago
Not to slight our guys, but it seems like they picked the most controversial team possible. Hence, Kessel on the first line, Andy over Marty, and actually picking the best backup goalie in their mind, not the second best goalie. The WCHA guys at USCHO have got into a mini flamefest about this, claiming that the team wouldn't make the Final Five, etc. but there were some interesting picks. Andby Molgestron - Hockey
Re: What I like about being a Big Red fan - 18 years ago
I'm a current junior so I've only really had two years to compile, but here's my favorite: Signing my Cornell acceptance letter was bittersweet for me. I had always wanted to go to Michigan but when college responses came back some coaxing by my parents and some self-realization that Wolverine football wasn't all that mattered in an undergraduate experience convinced me to choose Cornell. Re: News from the front… worst line ever - 18 years ago
I wasn't aware that anybody required really serious attention. When we left, there were a handful of people on the curb being treated by EMS for what looked like cuts- one of them might have been the girl you're talking about. It didn't look extremely serious but it's certainly worse than nothing. Of the 15 people I was with, almost everyone had small cuts or bruises. One small girl hurt her backby Molgestron - Hockey
