Re: Harvard Post-game - 15 years ago
Well played win. Defensively we really minimized their opportunities. Strong play in the corners and very few chances from the front of the net. The offensive looked a little more lively. Strong cycling in the corners led to the first goal. The offenseman seemed to find each other more frequently than the first two games I saw (Pri and Q). BTW, Greening just exploded with the puck late in the thiby MattShaf - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 @ Quinnipiac 0 (postgame thread) - 15 years ago
Offense is slowly getting there. The shots are taking just a few seconds to long to take. The puck was moved well on PP but we need one timers from the open players not control and shoot. Would have been nice to see Barlow finish the penalty shot (question: can you refuse the penalty shot and take the 5 on 3?) Fairly solid game defensively, only a handful of quality chances from in front of tby MattShaf - Hockey
Re: Cornell 1 @ Princeton 0 (Post-game Thread) - 15 years ago
Nice game. On the upside, we used our size effectively (Princeton looked real small on TV) and played well defensively with many blocked shots up top. Down side, not much going on offensively with very chances in front of the net and very little commitment to cycle the puck in the corner until someone could work free. Overall, can't argue with the result and a good start to build upon. See ya inby MattShaf - Hockey

Re: POST GAME CORNELL 3-2 COLORADO COLLEGE - 18 years ago
A great victory tonight. The 2nd period power play goal was clearly the turning point of the game. After a horrible first period, Cornell finally mounted some sustained offense in the second but couldn't finish until the nice give and go that led to the first goal. Cornell clearly controlled the third and were finally able to take advantage of the CC giveaways in their own zone. It was great to sby MattShaf - Hockey
Re: NCAA First Round 3/24 - 18 years ago
How good did BC and BU both look yesterday.....shame they have to play each other in a regional. BC's performance was particularly impressive when we consider so many people were arguing Miami could've/should've been a #1 seed and defensively they were only giving up less than 2 goals per game.by MattShaf - Hockey
