krose"A sophomore from America's hometown"??? I don't think most people consider any town in Massachusetts representative of America at large. God, please stop the madness... Kyle Plymouth, the Mayflower...yeah I guess it's probably a stretch.by Pete Godenschwager - Hockey

Re: ECAC Awards - 18 years ago
billhowardHmmm ... wonder how many times in recent years a team has won the ECAC title without a first team player? Definitely underscores the strength of all four Cornell lines. Well we haven't won anything yet (But I see your point )by Pete Godenschwager - Hockey

Re: Best Sweater Rating Index - 18 years ago
For such a historic program, Clarkson needs to pick a damn jersey and stick with it. For as much as I hate the Yankees (sorry to bring baseball into this) the one thing I like about them is they don't screw around with their jerseys and add third and fourth jerseys and ten different combinations of hats and pants.by Pete Godenschwager - Hockey
Re: UVa 7- PU 6 (Sunday) - 18 years ago
billhoward Barton at one point hosted the indoor Heps every year unti Dartmouth and some others cried foul. The Schoellkopf track is four laps to the mile, or 440 yards around. Is the new track 400 meters instead? That might be what makes Schoellkopf non-standard going forward. The new track is indeed 400 meters.by Pete Godenschwager - Other Sports
Re: [semi-OT] CHA title game on CSTV... NOW - 18 years ago
I believe Air Force is leaving for AH I think the CHA will still get the auto bid for a year or two while they look for a replacement team, though.by Pete Godenschwager - Hockey
Re: Davenport returns... are we saying bye to Mckee? - 18 years ago
ninian '72DiLeo's off Heisenberg's list of Cornell recruits, so this four-goalie issue may be a non-problem: He's already here at Cornell though. Or was he still listed until recently?by Pete Godenschwager - Hockey
Re: Cornell 2, Union 1, mid 3rd - 18 years ago
petergPete GodenschwagerTrotskyGreat. According to the CU announcer, Davenport and Seminoff are both playing through the flu. I'm actually surprised the players don't get flu shots. It would make sense. All CU athletes are offered flu shots in the fall. Then Coach needs to get their asses into Gannett!by Pete Godenschwager - Hockey

I haven't seen Moulson have that much time to shoot all season. Last year he seemed to have one or two of those chances per game.by Pete Godenschwager - Hockey

Re: Cornell 0, Union 0, early 2nd - 18 years ago
Ritathe announcers said it was more like setting a pick. I guess it was technically a pick, but looked like he was just trying to stay onsides. Oh well, we got a shorty off of itby Pete Godenschwager - Hockey
