If the weather sucks, we usually use the garage that's at Eliot and JFK, near the square. It's multi-level and we've always found a spot. The downside is that it costs $21 for the evening. A number of the local eateries will validate your ticket, saving $2. Another option that works for free, though it involves a decent hike, is to go down Brattle Street away from the square. [OT] - New Record for the Pan-Mass Challenge! - 18 years ago
I'm sure many of you are aware of an event known as the Pan-Mass Challenge. It's a 2-day, 192-mile bike ride in August that helps the fight against cancer. Some of you have been kind enough to support me and my wife, Sarah, in our participation in this event. And I'll bet there are many more of you out there who support other riders as well. Well, a great big THANK YOU!! goes out to each anby Killer - Hockey

Tobe or Not Tobe? - 18 years ago
OK, so "Not Tobe" is really Daigneau, and the question is who's in goal for Sucks next weekend. I'm guessing Daigneau. But either way, all you creative sign-makers and cheer/taunt-writers, there must be a lot we can do with this one, so put the thinking caps on and let's see what we come up with. Oh yeah, and on that grade inflation thing, what better proof could there be than theby Killer - Hockey

Redundant Sign? - 18 years ago
I went to the Dartmouth-Harvard game last night (you know, taking visiting relatives who are Dartmouth grads to see a game) and some Dartmouth fans had a sign that said "Harvard Sucks". Now, isn't that the same as holding up a sign that says, "Sucks Sucks"? BTW, though who's to say how much you can base on the first game of the season, neither team looked especially impresby Killer - Hockey

I think someone should make up a sign for tonight based on "Vicari-oops". Something like "Hey, Michigan: live Vicari-oops-ly, DIE Vicari-oops-ly"by Killer - Hockey

Re: Get with it Section B!!! - 18 years ago
FWIW, my Yale tickets arrived in the mail yesterday. I think I ordered them on the 17th or so. So if anyone else did the same, hopefully they'll be showing up around now. See you there. LGR!! We're planning to be there. But no tickets in-hand just yet. Anyone have theirs already? I have Brown, Dartmouth and Harvard, but no Yale. Re: game worn jerseys avail. for sale - 18 years ago
Anyone know if the process for getting game-worn jerseys has changed? I checked the eLynah FAQs to get the lowdown and have sent a couple e-mails to the gentleman from the equipment room mentioned there, but so far to no avail. I'd love to get one as a present for my daughter (aka Little Killer), but being in the Boston area, and not getting response to my inquiries, I'm a bit stymied. Anyby Killer - Hockey

Anyone else wind up with tickets in purgatory? I have six on the glass, but we're over in Section 2. Damn, we'll be sitting in front of my wife's boss - a Sucks alum. Well, it's only a short walk to go stand behind the CU sections.by Killer - Hockey

Re: [OT Lax] Screw BU, Boston Globe too! - 19 years ago
Glad I finally got online and got the real results of the game. I picked up the Globe on Saturday morning, anxiously looked for the lax scores, and there it was: Hobart 5 - Cornell 1 (with no write-up) I couldn't believe it. How could our boys have been so outplayed that they scored only 1 goal? Whew. What relief to come here and get the real story. But still, we're unseeded and haby Killer - Hockey
