Does anyone else get a "cannot locate mplayer2.exe" error for the Maine feed?by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Back-up goalies - 21 years ago
Would Marr's game at Waterloo include the exhibition game we won 2 years ago?by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Back-up goalies - 21 years ago
Yeah, with the exception of OSU, BU, and Harvard, we haven't had more than 21 shots on goals against us. Averaging out it's probly been less than 20. Combine that with goalies that, while not having a lot of experience, are at least average, I don't see more than 3 goals against us.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Saturday BU updates - 21 years ago
End of 2nd, still looking good. As long as we stay even-manned, Lenny can save 'em all I think!by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Saturday BU updates - 21 years ago
Leneveu making the saves ...how much time left in the 2nd?by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Saturday BU updates - 21 years ago
For a good play-by-play, go here: Change the 1 to a 2 or 3 for the 2nd or 3rd periods. I'm basically using this, that, and to "listen". Great start for Cornell; saved the shots for when they counted! Paolini is off da hook!by French Rage - Hockey
Re: polls - 11/25 - 21 years ago
Wow, the CHODR predicts we'll win against BU by 4.16 to 1.70.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: polls - 11/25 - 21 years ago
Furthermore, we got 343 points this weekend compared to 259 last week, which is a big surge. Also, on the (early) PWR, we're #1!by French Rage - Hockey
Re: forgotten cheer - 21 years ago
Not every cheer has to have a scientificly proven reason to work. One's that that are for shits and giggles.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: forgotten cheer - 21 years ago
Oh, crap, I had completely forgotten about that (I'm in B)! I dunno, I guess the few people that usually started it graduated or aren't there or something; it's one of those things that if someone started others would eagerly join in. I'll try to get the poeple in B doing it again tonite and tomorrow. Yea, BRI, sure it doesn't really distract them, but thats not the point. The point is that wby French Rage - Hockey
Re: Fish-tossing this Friday - 21 years ago
Yeah, nervously here too. I might wait a few seconds to see if everyone else throws and in that case go ahead. Or just organize all the people around me (in B) to throw at once. Of course, B is the heart, so probably less to worry about there? Anyways, off to Wegman's now to buy the fish.by French Rage - Hockey
Fish-tossing this Friday - 21 years ago
So, is the new threat of JA'ed going to stop anyone from tossing fish this Friday? I mean, it's never really been allowed anyways, so I don't see this game being any different. There'll be the usual (half-assed) attempts to search people at the door, but beyond that does anyone think someone (the ushers, police, university officials, etc.) are gonna do anything extra when people throw the fish.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: sun article - 21 years ago
Well, as long as the "security" they have to "enforce" thse rules are 80 year old geriatrics, I wouldn't take what the "letter" says with anything more than a grain of salt. This is a big rivalry year with Harvard, especially since this is the year we win it all! Bring lots of fish, bring as many as you can possibly fit on yourself! Get everyone to do the same! Re: sun article - 21 years ago
Just in spite I'm now gonna take as many fish in as I can fit on myself, and get everyone I know to do the same.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Ticket Line - 21 years ago
Delta, I think the whole timeline (what time in line get's you what line number) has to do with the team's success last year and anticipation of what they're going to do this year. I think's it's safe to say that way more people are excited about this year than the last few (not to say that there aren't ppl who are always excited, but now there are people who usually dont care much about the gaby French Rage - Hockey
Re: Ticket Line "disassembles" - 21 years ago
I'll chime in with my opinion on this year. I arrived with my group Thursday night and we were the second group there. We stayed through the night and heard we were going to be cleared out at 7 AM. At 7 no one came and we thought we were in the clear. But when I was in class from 9 to 10, someone came and cleared out the line and all were gone when I returned. I headed over to the benchesby French Rage - Hockey
Ticket Line Question - 21 years ago
Question to all the ticket experts: The rules day one person cannot hold two line numbers. This is two prevent people from trying to get away with not waiting in line the whole 1-11 time. What if, however, a person holds only one line number, but it was not originally issued to them. Case in point with my group, three of our members will have to leave for a Hangovers event for 3 hours Saturdaby French Rage - Hockey
Re: Tickets for Games at Lynah - 21 years ago
At Harvard, 93% of the students get section A seats, even though 40 years ago their work would only earn them section C seats.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Tickets for Games at Lynah - 21 years ago
Worst comes to worst, you can always get a scalped ticket (outside the Field House) ranging anywhere from $5 to $15 depending on the game quality. That's how those of us who didn't get season tickets freshmen year were able to go to every home game (even for Harvard there are alot).by French Rage - Hockey
Re: Player Progression - 21 years ago
So it goes high school/prep/Canadian juniors -> college / CHL -> minors -> pro? Are the canadian juniors in place of the juniors? Also, what's the deal with drafting - is it done by age or level of play?by French Rage - Hockey
Player Progression - 21 years ago
Can some explain or point me to a site that explains the route hockey players take from high school to the pros. To me it seems like they go to minors, then college, then the minors again, then pros, but I'm not sure this is right.by French Rage - Hockey
Re: April Fools! - 22 years ago
It was funny and all, but the few minutes between when I read it and when I realized it was fake were quite scary.by French Rage - Hockey
