Question to all the ticket experts:
The rules day one person cannot hold two line numbers. This is two prevent people from trying to get away with not waiting in line the whole 1-11 time. What if, however, a person holds only one line number, but it was not originally issued to them. Case in point with my group, three of our members will have to leave for a Hangovers event for 3 hours Saturday afternoon. Would they be able to give their numbers to 3 other people for that time when they are gone. I guess a related question would be when they originally hand out the numbers at 1 do they take your name too and check that later, or do they only check that person X does not hold two numbers?

While it is the nature of the members of this board to try and parse the AD press release to divine an answer to your question, I think you are much better served by just writing to the AD. Any "advice" you get here would be dangerous to rely on, and you won't win an argument with it when you are bounced from the line.

Based on two years ago, they took your name and student ID number (by looking at your student ID) when they gave you your line number.
I'm not quite sure what you were saying at the beginning of your post, but the rules say you CAN hold two line numbers... yours and a friend's. If there are 6 or more people total, it would be no problem for three to be gone at any time. So either recruit more or *pray* to find someone there holding only one line number.
But if you're holding two numbers, one of them has to be yours. That's certainly my impression.
