Cornell fails to defend an Army 1 minute extra man and with 8 to go in the third quarter it's now 8-4.by Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports
Re: Lax: NCAA Quarterfinals - 13 years ago
Jacob '06 Trotsky Sounds like one of Army's key players was hurt right at the half. It was their goalie. Looked like he pulled his groin or hamstring Think it was his ankle and he is not starting the second half.by Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports

Re: Softball Beats Harvard for Ivy Championship - 14 years ago
But Arizona State is coming to the northeast while two northeast teams are going to Arizona. In a sport, where they try to keep NCAA travel to a minimum as in many of the other brackets, this seems like unneccessary travel especially since Cornell was kept close to home last year.by Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports
Re: Cornell Women's Hockey - 14 years ago
Trotsky Cornell is currently tied for 8th in the PWR. How does selection work (how many auto bids, etc)? Based on the womens PWR, which Cornell is tied for 8th but with BU, so with the BU win, they get an automatic bid making Cornell 9th at the moment. NCAA field likely Minnesota, Minnesota-Duluth, Harvard, Clarkson, Mercyhurst, New Hampshire, BU and Cornell with a Cornell win or Connecticutby Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports

RichH Tom Pasniewski 98 Beeej knows I'm a Boston area guy (and I'm leaving for the b-ball game at UMass in about five minutes) but rouls, I've got a wicked travel schedule which takes me to Florida So when you say "I'm a Boston area guy" that means that you moved from Long Island and started writing "wicked" and wearing Red Sox garb just several years ago, right? I for one am already appreciating what I expect to be a great winter into spring and have rearranged my schedule as much as possible to allow for travel to as many hockey and hoops games this winter to take it all in. I was at the game last night. Cornell played okay but U-Mass was awful and their youth showed through. I was glad to see Cornell working the ball down low - they may not have alwby Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports

Beeej knows I'm a Boston area guy (and I'm leaving for the b-ball game at UMass in about five minutes) but rouls, I've got a wicked travel schedule which takes me to Florida right after the ECAC basketball games at MSG 12/20 and 12/21. After catching Cornell hockey in Estero, I'm supposed to be back for hockey at UNH on 1/3. I've been to the Whit many times to see both the UNH men and women buby Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports

Well, the AP was not as generous with only one point. Leaving work now to head to the U-Mass game. Don't know what kind of crowd to expect but I'll report back later tonight.by Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports
Re: Seibald wins Tewaaraton - 14 years ago
What an emotional ride - win player of the year, win midfielder of the year, win Lowe's Senior Class award, beat Virginia in national semi's, graduate, lose national championship game, get drafted, win Tewaarton. All in a week's time.by Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports

Re: Cornell vs. Syracuse - 14 years ago
Jim HylaJacob '06Well I think after the Bemidji Grand Rapids fiasco I'm gonna be superstitious and not allow myself to go to the finals. Hopefully against Syracuse we can use the same game plan and slow the ball down and keep a lot of posession.Well, however some people want to say it, Bemidji was not the finals, so it should have no bearing here. Go and enjoy. Not that I don't usually agree wiby Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports
Re: Cornell vs. Syracuse - 14 years ago
After staying and eating and drinking until they shut us down as it was getting dark last night (that really was one awesome party that Cornell threw all day), I can't even fathom the thought of doing it again...but I'm sure I'll find a new wind when I wake up tomorrow morning. For tomorrow: -Lots open at 9 a.m. -Tailgating will be in the same hospitality tents -It will be BYOB agaiby Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports

Re: Lacrosse Final Four Tailgate and Pep Rally - 15 years ago
I was kidding Josh. Seriously though, I have an inquiry in since it occurred to me that the signs on Route 1 are for lots P1 to P11. No lot 22. So for those that do wish to stop by and don't wish to schlep heavy stuff half way across Foxboro, I'll get the correct 'P' number to follow for parking.by Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports
Re: Lacrosse Final Four Tailgate and Pep Rally - 15 years ago
Josh '99Tom Pasniewski 98Bring all of your own alcoholic beverages to the tailgate for you and others.Does that mean all of the alcoholic beverages I possess? Because that's a lot to carry. (More seriously, are there any policies we should be aware of regarding bottles vs. cans, etc.?) Yes, bring it all. I don't believe there is anything against glass (or at least the tailgating ruleby Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports
Re: Final Four Tickets - 15 years ago
Speaking of parking, parking in official Gillette stadium lots is supposed to be FREE for the duration of the weekend from 8 a.m. to 2 hours after the end of the last game each day. This is not a bad deal now that I have the Cornell package for tickets for all three days.by Tom Pasniewski 98 - Other Sports
