RichH ajh258 What if the current pairs don't change and Ivies just have to play one of the non-Ivies teams like Quinnipiac and Colgate during week 1 or 2? That's still better than facing RPI and Union right? I've read this 5 times, and I still don't understand what you're suggesting. I believe that Andy is suggesting that Ivy schools only play travel partners with at least one Ivy school forby amerks127 - Hockey

If "playoffs" also means "elections" and "alumni" stretches beyond hockey careers, then Ken Dryden's defeat in Canadian parliamentary elections tonight fits in well here. There aren't any news articles yet, but I'm sure many will be posted tomorrow. Oh well, Ken had to lose at something once in his life. KeithK Robb KeithK ugarte kingpin248 We have the real, substantive answer: Rudy Giuliani will speak at the 2011 Convocation. "9/11, 9/11, 9/11." It will be 911 times 2356. My God, I don't know what that is! Nobody does! From what I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.N.C.E has gathered, it would be 9/11 times 100.by amerks127 - John Spencer Is Dead

Jim Hyla Jeff Hopkins '82 css228 KeithK Dafatone css228 Kyle Rose CowbellGuy marty If only Melrose hadn't given Michigan the kiss of death at the beginning of OT by praising Hunwick. RichH dag14 The bulldogs v. the bulldogs. What is the statistical likelihood of that occurring? One of you must know.... One or two seasons ago, Yale played a RS road game at Duluth. The UMD broadcast team obviously reflexively kept talking about the Bulldogs, and one partner eventually blithely pointed out to the other that Yale is also the Bulldogs. The partner's response was a very homerifby amerks127 - Hockey

css228 Ben css228 ajh258 I'm disappointed that we have such low standards. No wonder student attendance has been declining. As a current student I can tell you the exact reason why student attendance has been declining. I know tons of people who'd love to have season tickets and just can't afford to shell out $260 dollars. As a result the a lot of the people who replaced them are people who thougby amerks127 - Hockey
Re: Alumni in the Pros_ March 2011 - 13 years ago
Kyle Rose ftyuvMaybe it's just semantics, but to me a garbage goal is one which you really "shouldn't" have had. For instance, you're behind the net, you try to pass it to a someone, there's a weird deflection and it goes in off a defender's stick. Yeah it's in, yeah you get the point, and yeah you could argue that you had something to do with the defense being scrambly -- but it's notby amerks127 - Hockey

AKMer Anything in DC? Have got two Cornellians and a Yalie visiting and I don't get CBS. Try calling the Penn Quarter Sports Tavern. ebilmes Greening called back up today. He thought it was a joke that he was playing on the NHL Sens top line: After the moves the Sens made, there will be a long process of rebuilding their organization. They traded Kovalev, Ruutu, and Fisher, while only claiming a mediocre Svatos on waivers. I expect Greening (and Butler and Locke) will likely see significant NHL time going forward.by amerks127 - Hockey
