KeithK jtn27 Aaron M. Griffin Not sure I support the use of the alternate lyrics, it would mean that we have sunk to their level. I know many will disagree with me, but that's my opinion on it. I agree with you. I think cursing is (almost) never necessary, especially at sporting events. The best chants are the most creative ones and those are rarely ones that have profanity. Re: Harvard 6 Cornell 1 ECAC post-game - attendance - 12 years ago
Josh '99 Larry72 The second closest to an "event" location was Lake Placid. For those of us who experienced Cornell-Clarkson in 1970 in the old rink for the NCAA championship and/or the USA gold medal run in 1980, this is a special place. The town is still quaint, fun, and not too expensive. Yes, it's a drive for most, but not truly terrible. However, the biggest problem with it is tby judy - Hockey

RichH Rita Don't get too many crazy ideas about having a Conference Tourney with a ticket to the NC$$ tournament at stake at a venue that doesn't normally have ice for hockey games. You do not want to be playing important games on sh*tty ice. Ford Field. Ohhh, if you're going to go to Philadelphia, let's keep going to Baltimore. Or Washington DCAC!!! I'll take DC! Re: Big Ten Hockey Conference - 13 years ago
Rita css228 Trotsky If the emphasis is on only the best teams making the national tournament, the solution is to cut back autobids and cut back the tournament field. Assuming 1 autobid per conference (the current 5 + the future BTHC), a 12 team tourney would still allow 6 at large teams (translation: 4 from the WCHA and BTHC, 1 from HE, and 1 from the ECAC or CCHA).
