Re: Quinnipiac signs 23 year-old transfer - 8 years ago
ugarteReally? This is pretty intuitive scouting to me. Given a 19- or 23-year-old with roughly equivalent raw skills, a pro scout will prefer the teenager because he has more time to develop, and that's what the time horizon of a professional scout is. Does that make him more likely to be in the pros? Or just more likely to eventually be in the pros? There aren't a lot of 19yos in pro hockey: theby Kyle Rose - Hockey

Trotsky Some consolation for the Q haters (and all of us, really). 2 of Q's 3 best juniors, Anas and Tim Clifton, have been outstanding through the tourney so far and may well jump. This along with St. Denis, Garteig, Jonzzon and Tiefenwerth all graduating and Q could be decimated. Re: Lake Placid Attendance - 8 years ago
Jim HylaI'd still like to look into combined ECAC and HE in Boston. While this would be incredibly convenient for me, I still think the best location for a weekend tournament starting on a Friday is Albany. Even assuming Cornell gets back to the championship weekend sometime soon, I doubt I will attend while it's in Placid: that's just too far to go for a weekend trip that might be for only onby Kyle Rose - Hockey

margolism Some interesting tidbits: Through 4 2/3 games, Cornell has scored 20 goals. Took twice as many games last year to get to 20 goals. Last year Cornell scored 57 goals. We're at 35% of last year's total scoring total, and we are not done with our fifth game.
