I guess I'm in the minority here (and obviously late in coming to the argument), but I can't really see why people are so bothered by this guy's article. Does he really rail on Cornell at all? He seems disappointed with some of the social aspects, which puts him in the company of many a lazy Cornell student (except he's coming from a university with an incredibly different social environmenby Jacob 03 - Hockey

First of all, the guy wrote "sike." Either he or his editor is ten kinds of stupid for this alone. Most of his other stuff is ridiculously dumb too, but that's true of most cornell sportswriting (and honestly, most sportswriting in general). The last decent daily sun sports editor I recall was Angel, and that was definitely a number of years ago. That being said... A-19 Wroteby Jacob 03 - Hockey

To offer some defense of the Section H family of which Rich spoke (though if anything he's downplaying how funny it was) I've heard the same four-word phrasing in other rinks. Maybe that vindicates them a bit...either they learned it from someone else who had it incorrect or others have made the same mistake on their own. in some bizarro world i could appreciate the fact that o'byrne has such an obvious pattern of making the same mistake over and over. it's almost cute. and mckee bailed him out of it about once a game over the past couple seasons. but i guess now we're seeing that he can't cover o'byrne's ass forever. i don't really know if coach can afford to bench him just to "send a message," thouby Jacob 03 - Hockey
