Re: Cu - 0 Yale - ECAC finals (postgame) - 13 years ago
It's good that we all have such high expectations for the program. 2009-10 was generally a good year. We finished 2nd in the ECAC regular season, 1 point behind Yale. We won the ECAC tourney and were a 2 seed in the NCAAs. After losing an outstanding senior class and Riley Nash to the pros after his junior year, we tied for 4th in the conference and lost in the ECAC finals. We have what I'veby CAS - Hockey

In the spring edition of the Athletics Spirit Magazine, Andy again writes of the recruiting battles we are now winning for football recruits. Coach Austin does have an impressive coaching background and is a winner.by CAS - Other Sports

USCHO reports only 758 attended the Princeton - St Lawrence game at Baker Rink. Another reason why talented players should want to attend Cornell - where hockey matters!by CAS - Hockey

It is my understanding that the improved financial aid is for all Cornell students. One of the priorities of the current Cornell Campaign is to fund the new financial aid policy. This will improve our ability to compete for economists, biologists, and talented goal scorers. Please remember to sign your checks!by CAS - Hockey

Usual nonsense spread by those envious of our success. Median SAT's for Cornell's enrolled class of 2014 was 1410, with Arts and Engineering above the median. The SAT's for the contract colleges were modestly lower than the overall median [1350ish]. Ag & Life Sciences admitted only 22% of applicants last year and is highly competitive. The business program was ranked top-5 in Business Weeby CAS - Other Sports
Re: Cornell at Rensselaer - 13 years ago
If you back out Miller's 10 minute misconduct, Cornell still incurred more penalty minutes. I believe RPI actually got the better of the calls, despite Appert's constant complaining.by CAS - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Rensselaer - 13 years ago
After watching the game on TV, I definitely don't share the RPI complaints about the officiating. In fact Cornell incurred more penalty minutes in the game.by CAS - Hockey

Re: Cornell Football -- The Future Starts Now - 13 years ago
Appears that Coach Austin and staff are logging a lot of miles in putting together this class. Of this partial list, more players are from California and Florida than any other state [3 each].by CAS - Other Sports
Re: Cornell Football -- The Future Starts Now - 13 years ago
Scoop I agree, it appears Coach Austin is recruiting some outstanding players and winning some recruiting battles. With the right coach, I know of no reason why we can't win in football too.by CAS - Other Sports

Way to hold the team responsible for your inability to watch the game. Guess your reception returned for OT. Looking forward to watching what appears to be our outstanding recruiting classes arriving in Ithaca the next 2 years. Let's Go Red!by CAS - Hockey

Re: Cornell 3 UAH 1 - 13 years ago
I agree with Al that our newly improved financial aid, include matching HYP awards, can only enhance Cornell's attractiveness for outstanding hockey players. Cornell, unlike many of its peers, is a place where hockey matters. Who wouldn't want to play at Lynah?by CAS - Hockey
