Sent a protest to folks at ESPN for not carrying the game and got this response inside 20 hours: That game is available nationally through DIRECTV on ESPNU. Please contact DIRECTV for information about adding this channel to your package. ESPNU is a basic cable network and is available to any cable system or satellite provider that would like to offer the service to its subscriberby profudge - Hockey

Re: Another New Recruit - 19 years ago
<Personal Opinion ON> I agree that coach's efforts 'seem' to be directed to Major junior players and the longer and some say 'harder' season when compared to preps. Given Cornell's success and Schafer's over recent history I would not criticize or question this. I do believe there are exceptions! Example - near the end of Jamie Sifers HS junior season at Taft, I sent coachby profudge - Hockey

Re: Cam Abbott? - 19 years ago
Cam did not play this weekend - I won't speculate on his return - although the sooner he is healthy the better - He is definitely a fan favorite almost every game I have been to last couple of years (count me in also!) .by profudge - Hockey

another Update: Nickerson cruises into semifinals BINGHAMTON -- Chenango Forks' Troy Nickerson barely broke a sweat Friday, pinning Corning's Don Bower in 20 seconds to move into the Division I 125-pound semifinals of the Section 4 Wrestling Championships at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Re: Cornell - RPI Postgame thread - 19 years ago
I agree that Murphy was less than stellar (understatement) - I thought it was borderline - looked like RPI was instigating trying to get emotion going, something RPI desperately needed - At a minimum it should have been a double minor for the hit (Murphy already had his arm, up for that ] and then Hynes can flying in and got roughed up for his troubles and all Murphy did is call minorsby profudge - Hockey

They were a Midget team from just North of Toronto - They liked the game and really enjoyed the experience of Lynah - talked to a couple of the kids walking out of rink - Sasha went off ice to locker romm in first period holding arm and in some amount of pain. We played with 5 d'men rest of way - Jeremy, Charlie, Ryan, Dan, Doug did a good job over all hoping Jon is back soon. Downs and Cby profudge - Hockey
Re: Penn-Cornell Wrestling - 19 years ago
Update on a recruit for next year: NICKERSON REACHES MILESTONE His wrestling resume is already rather lengthy -- the most notable of his achievements five national titles and a record-tying four state titles -- but Chenango Forks senior Troy Nickerson managed to add another noteworthy achievement on Tuesday in the Blue Devils' 46-16 victory at Maine-Endwell. With his 22-second pin of M-by profudge - Hockey
