Re: RPI vs. Cornell 2/3/23 - 1 year ago
marty Iceberg If RPI had scored on their own net on that last power play, does anyone remember who the last Cornell player to touch the puck was? Let's check the video. Seems like Andreev was the last Cornell player to touchby Iceberg - Hockey

Re: Union @ Cornell - 1 year ago
Trotsky I wonder whether Malinski has any shot at ECAC POTY. For him to do what he's doing is nuts. A 10-game point streak and consistent goal scoring to boot? The guy is literally an offensive threat anytime he's on the ice. I can't think of any Cornell D who has given me that feeling in the past 10-15 years. As good as Kaldis was, Malinski is on another level offensively.by Iceberg - Hockey

Trotsky Iceberg If RPI had scored on their own net on that last power play, does anyone remember who the last Cornell player to touch the puck was?Is that the rule, or is it the player closest to the puck when it was shot? If the former, you can get credit for a goal when you are off the ice, which is nice. It's whoever last touched the puck, and that includes goaltenders. If Shane had madeby Iceberg - Hockey

Harvard happens to be in MA so I'm sure that helps for some recruits. That's not to say Cornell hasn't gotten its fair share of good players from MA over the years, but stillby Iceberg - Hockey

Swampy Scersk '97 I do think we need to put the body to them as much as possible, though. I’m not sure we’re playing as physical as we can. Of course, a missed hip check or two can very well be a puck in the net. Yet Harvard’s rink, at 204 x 87 with lots of room behind the nets, makes that difficult. So you have to tire them out through cycling, which, as you say, the 2003 team would’ve beenby Iceberg - Hockey
Re: Love Means Not Having to Say "You Just Suck": Cornell at Harvard - 1 year ago
BearLover Harvard’s five goals all scored by top-three-round draft picks. Maybe we can finally dispense with the notion that draft picks don’t matter and that Harvard doesn’t play up to its talent. I think everyone knows Harvard's top two lines are great and that's been the case the whole season. One key factor that hasn't been mentioned is that Harvard defenders other than Thrun decided to shoby Iceberg - Hockey

Re: IT'S A TRAP! Cornell vs Princeton - 1 year ago
I was wondering if the referees had called embellishment and my suspicion was confirmed. The call seemed odd, though, considering that Bancroft was actually in a vulnerable position and if anything, he lost his balance rather than trying to embellish. I initially thought nothing was going to be called when I was watching the game since the contact appeared to be soft, but who knows what has beenby Iceberg - Hockey

abmarks Iceberg Malinski continues to own BU Malinski's the one who misplayed the puck just inside the BU blue line with about 35 seconds left, leading directly to the final goal.
