...middling won-lost record of 59-57-13 and regular-season ECAC finishes of 8th place, 7th place, 4th place and 4th place, respectively. I could have sworn we ended up at Placid in third place last year, and we beat harvard, the 2nd seed, didn't we? But then again, I don't know what years he is talking about.by Erica - Hockey

Thanks Beeej! Geez, I knew I was going to get lambasted. What I said was mostly tongue-in-cheek, as most of the people who actually know me would probably attest that I tend to joke about lots of things. I didn't forget about all that Yale stuff, CULater. Matter of fact, I was at the Whale. I'm confident that they will win, overconfident, never. If they lose, they lose. It was a great season, aby Erica - Hockey

Oh My God!! Everyone needs to RELAX! The first time I heard anything about Undy's injury was a quote from Schafer I read in an article. Something to the effect of, "It's not really anything very serious. It's just a precaution." So if that's what he says, that's what I think. There is no need to speculate. I don't think I read the post about the nurse or whatever but you people read intby Erica - Hockey

Re: Retired Numbers - 22 years ago
I noticed this a long time ago and started looking at the other teams. They all do it as far as I can remember. At least, I don't specifically remember any team not doing it. So don't think we're too special in that regard. I think it's generally a hockey thing to do.by Erica - Hockey

Hughes lands on Wheaties box From staff and wire reports More reason to add Sarah to the list of important who's who related to Cornellians. I'm telling you, she could easily make over a million dollars a year if she really wants to. In addition to the Wheaties box, she is presenting tomorrow night at the Grammies and sitting next to Janet Jackson. And I thought she didn't go to the Closing cerby Erica - Hockey
Re: Best time and place to buy ECAC tourny tix - 22 years ago
I bought them at Placid last year. It's not really a problem, especially if you don't know if you're going to all the games, and you don't know which games we will be in. You can pretty much sit anywhere. It's not like even the championship was very crowded last year, and it was St. Lawrence.by Erica - Hockey
Re: Dartmouth/VT - 22 years ago
you know, you guys are funny. After living and breathing life in a Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital, I have absolutely no respect for a Harvard undergraduate education, and my boss agrees. I mean, after that grade inflation story, geez.... And I have even less respect for Harvard hockey, as do all of you. However, I still have the utmost respect for the graduate programs, including the Medicaby Erica - Hockey

Is there anyone at all who is driving to Dartmouth and/or Vermont this weekend from Boston who has room for a sweet girl in his or her car who promises good conversation and some gas money?by Erica - Hockey

According to a Boston Globe article, the Canadiens won most of the technical marks, and the Russians won most of the artistic marks. When you add the two up, the higher overall marks earn a first place ordinal. There were two instances in which the added marks were tied, in which case artistic impression is the tiebreaker, which in both cases was won by the Russians. That is the reason they won 5by Erica - Hockey
