Getting to Flanigan's Boathouse in Conshohocken by public transportation (for those who live in center city, or those worried about drinking & driving issues) It looks like you can take the R-6 regional rail line (to Norristown) and get off in Conshohocken. Here is a link to the train schedule: The boathouse is only two blocks from the conshohocken train station:by jnachod - Hockey

Re: Games on TV - 19 years ago
For those in the Albany, NY area who have Time Warner Cable (and possibly other areas). CSTV is now available as a regular, basic cable channel on channel # 26. You do not need to buy the sports package on digital cable to get this channel anymore. This was done because Fox Sports NY and MSG were removed from the list of channels they offer, and they wanted to put in two sports channels asby jnachod - Hockey

Re: Travel from Philadelphia to Princeton Game - 19 years ago
Yeah, the train (or the greyhound bus--- gasp) would be my only ways there. I have the Septa trans- pass (just the basic one that is good in the city, but it will give me a discount on the ride out to Trenton --- $3 instead of $7)... not sure about how the septa passes work on Amtrak - I don't think they do. Thanks for your advice...by jnachod - Hockey
Travel from Philadelphia to Princeton Game - 19 years ago
Hey, Are any Philadelphia-area Cornell alumni going to the Princeton game this Friday? I plan on taking the Septa R-7 train to Trenton, then the NJ Transit trains to Princeton Junction and on to Princeton. Has anyone taken these particular trains before and can comment on how appropriate of a method of getting to Princeton they are?by jnachod - Hockey

Re: Directions from Ithaca to RPI, please - 20 years ago
They do use aircraft on occasion on I-88. Every now and then on I-88 you will notice painted lines on the road that are not parallel to the lane markings. Usually there is one little stub on each side of the road. A certain defined distance after the first set of markings, there will be another set. Based on basic mathematics, the driver's average speed can be calculated between the two setsby jnachod - Hockey

Re: Status of Moulson/Hynes - 20 years ago
Not sure. And, a note to the wise... I don't think this is a good topic to discuss on Elynah. Student injury information is supposed to be confidential, and may give other teams an advantage if they know the details. Think before you post things here.by jnachod - Hockey
