Re: Cornell vs. Notre Dame - 20 years ago
Notre Dame has a LISTEN LIVE link for Real Player, but I can't get it to work. If anyone has success, please let me know. I'm in the same boat as Avash. Updates appreciated. EDIT: Finally got through, and it's not a free audio link. Never mind. Post Edited (12-27-03 16:39)by KenP - Hockey

OotGwgRoV, Your id has me intrigued. I tried seaching on USCHO (to no avail) for the Volonnino article mentioned in your signature. Do you have a valid link to the article?by KenP - Hockey

Actually I was thinking along the same lines. I think that Facetimer is likely a transsexual lesbian. For those who don't watch as much Jerry Springer as this abnormal psychology professor, a transsexual lesbian is a woman trapped in a man's body who yearns other women. I actually worked with someone matching this description. What made life even more interesting was that when he became she,by KenP - Hockey
Re: Vermont to Hockey East? - 20 years ago
Is there a better school to take the HE to a 10 team format? UConn would be an even better fit. Not only are they a state school, they are closer to Providence (READ: travel partners), and they are a Big East member as well.by KenP - Hockey

"Most Extreme Elimination Challenge". It's a kooky Japanese semi-reality show that's been dubbed over with adolescent yet amusing humor. ...they put the "FU" back in FUN.by KenP - Hockey

A co-worker told me that in high-school hockey that if you drop your gloves and fight, you're gone. From the teal, from the league, forever. No more high school hockey ever again. College hockey has the increasing DQ policy. Then you become a professional and it seems anything goes. If the opposition goes for a knee, they should be assessed major penalties, and fined/suspended/whatever fromby KenP - Hockey
Re: Vote for Hobey nominations begun - 20 years ago
Are there any players on the team deserving of the Hobey this year?? Much as I love my team, I dislike voting for players just because of their jerseysby KenP - Hockey

March 2 is significant (or will be) for RPI: On March... ...2, RPI defeated Princeton 4-1 for their first home sweep vs. Princeton and Yale in 2006.by KenP - Hockey

This thread reminds me of my freshman year, when a dorm-mate called me a liberal. It was the most heinous insult he could come up with, and I just laughed and laughed.by KenP - Hockey

Re: Bowling Green 1 @ Cornell 1 - 20 years ago
Still waiting to see Cornell get a lead (especially early) and have to work to keep it. In games where Cornell has the lead at any point in the game, they are 3-0-0. In tie or come-from-behind games, they are 0-1-3. I know this is a weak statistic but I think the jist of it is right on. By the way, does David have his new helmet yet?by KenP - Hockey
FINAL Bowling Green 1 @ Cornell 1 - 20 years ago
According to USCHO score updates, it's a final, and the 3rd tie of the season for the Red.by KenP - Hockey
