Discussions about the Cornell men's and women's hockey teams
Re: Cornell's 2008-2009 ECAC Schedule - 15 years ago
I'm also confused on why someone being underage makes them unable to score. Its not illegal for an underage person to score with another underage person. I'm pretty sure the statistics for underage sex of this type is a good number higher than 0%. In addition. Underage people have no legal repercussions when having sex with overage people. In essence: they can have sex with us, we can't have sby kaelistus - Hockey

Re: Cornell 1 at Harvard 2 postgame - 16 years ago
My own comments one the one game that I've seen this year compared to the same one game I saw last year: I like our D. Last year I thought we were untypically Cornellian - too much offense too little Defense. It wasn't the team I'm used to and I figured I wouldn't turn up well. This year the D was much more solid, which gives me more hope. With the exception of the beginning of the third peby kaelistus - Hockey

I'm always happy when ECAC players successfully make it to the NHL. So there's no joy on the news.by kaelistus - Hockey

Re: Hey, Pep Band... - 17 years ago
Bringing back.. I used to love that Mary had a little lamb cheer. Its just so funny to have a children's story coupled with maiming. Maybe this was the Grimm's version of that song. Who knows? Of course, even better was the 5 goal variant: (Goalie) is a great big sieve. Great big sieve, Great big sieve.. <repeat> He lets the pucks go by... FIVE TIMES!! Is this still around? Re: Cornell at Clarkson Post-game - 17 years ago
That would be nice.. For most current students its probably gray and cloudy. Anyway, I think you're all fighting over nothing. Personally, I think that middle finger guy is so ridiculously over the top that I can't help but laugh. I will also like to admit to the fact that some Cornell fans have, in the past, crossed the line (For example, the phone calls in the middle of the night). Many oby kaelistus - Hockey

Scersk '97, If someone could organize this cheer at a game, I think it would be D*MN funny: Andy Noel flings puppies into deep holesby kaelistus - Hockey

facism? I'm not sure if you're using the right word here. How about draconian? That's a much better word.by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: Separate ushers-vs.-fans game thread? - 17 years ago
I don't know the degree of what's going on, but all I have to say is that the Athletics administration has, over as many years as I've seen them, done everything they can to make Cornell Athletics an unfriendly place to be. Hence my 5 year old sig:by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: As Expected, "Zero Tolerance" For Friday Night - 17 years ago
Willy '06I happened to be at the volleyball game instead of the hockey game last night. Andy Noel was there for the first hour and he need to get over himself. He sent one of his goons (some ugly lady) to tell us fans that first we were not allowed to repeatedly tell Penn to focus, but it was ok to dance during their timeouts. Then we were told that dancing is now banned too. Finally, the goon caby kaelistus - Hockey

Re: is there All access for hockey this year? - 17 years ago
Yup.. It sucks that I can't watch. But All-Access just isn't worth it. I especially love their monthly fee where they don't have an option to not renew and make it really hard to cancel.by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: Macho lady busted - 17 years ago
They actually have a problem with this (I mean apart from the stupidness of it all)? That's insane! I know I never thought of the Macho Man dance as an "up yours" motion. Wow... I mean... WOW...by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: Macho lady busted - 17 years ago
Wait.. Lemme get this straight. Did they kick her out for doing the Macho Man dance or did they kick her out for flipping people off? These are two VERY different things.by kaelistus - Hockey

Re: New Lynah Photo Slideshow - 17 years ago
Funny.. So I'm browsing USCHO and I come up to this post in a Top College Arenas list: --- (Bothman) For me, to even be considered in this list, you have to represent what college athletics is all about: Rabid fans Band Intimate setting with fans on top of the ice No high tech scoreboard Students with the best seats For this reason, of the Northeast schools, this eliminates BU's Agaby kaelistus - Hockey

I've seen other websites do this: Felix Rodriguez (Kaelistus). And I'm a big fan of that style.by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: New Lynah Photo Slideshow - 17 years ago
Just out of curiosity. How many of these seats are actually going to go to students? I see a bunch of new premium seats but with C not going to students, it looks like most of the seat gain is going to the older folk. Not that I'm a student anymore, but I hope this isn't true.by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: New Forum Design - 17 years ago
You know.. I was just about to respond to the Forum poll with an "eh" when I noticed the beautiful Carnellian red has replaced that color that looked just too damn similar to Crimson. And here's a vote for "Great!" Awesome work Age!by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: Polls 10/16 - 17 years ago
I'm confused and somewhat rattled. Why is it that Cornell didn't go up in this poll? I mean, we didn't play! We're supposed to go up on the weeks we don't play. Stupid newbie pollsters.by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: Athletic's Website - 17 years ago
I've mentioned this before. I find it a disgrace to Cornell that they can't have an Athletics site that's not ridden with ads. Really, for me, its beyond shameful and so incredibly pathetic that its hard for me to believe its the same Cornell I went to 6 years ago.by kaelistus - Hockey
Re: Lynah Rink Renovation Blog - 17 years ago
I just want to come here and defend BU fans. They are awesome. Loud and abrasive but absolutely believe in the spirit of "Keep it on the ice" that its so important. I'll take our Faithful any day, but B.U. has the second best group of fans that I've ever seen. --- In the interest of full disclosure, my GF is a BU alum, but I've felt this way since that famous, to us, home and home seby kaelistus - Hockey
