Re: NCAA Scholarships change! - 18 years ago
I would have no problem with a few RIP players hitting the 3.7 - 4.0 range. Joe Juneau was said to be a real intellect yet his claim to fame was a 3.9 not a 4.0. Three with 4. averages is just proof that grade inflation is out of control. An architecture professor emeritus from RPI is a friend. ursaminor Wrote: At least at RPI, there has been a lot of grade inflation in recent years, and this would benefit the school from the point of view of allowing more scholarships. Note how many RPI students have been making the ECAC All-Academic team in recent years. I agree that there is so much opportunity for abuse of this that I hope it doesn't pass. You're oh so right. For want of better audio I was considering a season ticket to Access for Cornell. Does this exist? I thought I read that it was around $50. On the link that I followed I found only monthly service for sale. Thanks.by marty - Hockey

I bought 2 standing room tickets for MSU at U of M in '99. I enjoyed the game and the overall atmosphere. It wasn't quite the party that Lynah is, but well worth the "standing".by marty - Hockey

RPI has taken care of their season ticket line by sucking. This has had the desired effect of making more time available for the Engineers to grind away at the books as no line is necessary. RPI AD Ken Ralph Coach Fridgenby marty - Hockey

And an exciting issue it is. Time to park it!?! Maybe they wouldn't be so upset if the stump were still dead and rotting. "We're not out to hurt the students," Officer O'Hara said. "But when the time comes, we'll do what is necessary to remove them." Read while its hot!by marty - Hockey

The newest issue of PC Magazine arrived in my mailbox this week. Our prolific poster, Bill Howard made mention of ELynah in his column. I hope that doesn't raise the traffic too much but now that the season is over and the NHL season is drawing to a close there won't be all that much interest in Age's board from outsiders. The column did raise an issue in my mind that I had considered backby marty - Hockey
