We use those things at work - personally, I find them very annoying. You can use it like a regular cell phone, but there's also a pager/walkie-talkie feature, where you can select someone else on your "network" (someone else with a silly phone like yours) and page them. Their phone beeps, displays your name, and then they can talk back without having to dial a number and wait for a coby gtsully - Hockey
Future Regionals - 20 years ago
The announced the 2007 & 2008 Frozen Four sites today (St. Louis and Denver), as well as rounding out the regional sites through 2007. I thought is was pretty interesting that Rochester is hosting a regional in 2007, hosted by the ECAC as a whole, not one school in particular. So what happens if those whispers about the ECAC schools breaking off and forming their own hockey conference are tby gtsully - Hockey

Re: Burke to Boston? - 20 years ago
The Burke-to-Boston story was also reported in this Saturday's Boston Globe, so it's not like TSN is reaching for this one. I wouldn't be surprised if that deal happans, but if it does, I don't think it has as much of an immediate impact on LeNeveu as we might fear, for many of the reasons that calgARI '07 listed. But don't even get me started on Boston trading a #1 pick for one season of a 37-by gtsully - Hockey

Next time you're at Dunbar's, check out the pictures above the bar (on the left side when you walk in the front door, at the end closest to the door, unless they've moved them since the last time I was there). He brought it back after he won it with the Stars in '99.by gtsully - Hockey

Don't get me wrong - I hate the Devils. Even more than the Rangers at this point, actually, just because I'm so sick of them being sucessful with their boring-ass, "score few goals but allow very few" style. Hell, at least the Wild have some speedy forwards and exciting playmakers who, until recently, could score a little bit when needed. So lest anyone think I'm a Devils fan, I'm noby gtsully - Hockey

I remember a Bruins/Stars game in Dallas, sometime in the mid-nineties before the Stars were good, where not only did the Stars pull the goalie and score twice to tie the game, but scored again in regulation to win it once the goalie was back in.
