That rumour was started by me. I know a few people close to the Clarkson program and that is where I heard that Nickerson was arrested a couple times. Don't think he ever served any period in jail though.

They don't know anything about building decent hotels anywhere near Potsdam so me thinks he doesn't know anything about Monopoly. And we all know you can't trust the food either. He would probably just keep sticking a needle in the thimble in Monopoly until the thimble punched his daylights out. No, I did not just equate V with being a thimble. B-]

Again, probably a case of things being blown out of proportion. There was a large table with Abbotts and Carefoots (Carefeet?) and the group of 5 or 6 Clarkson players/family came in. They exchanged some words and the Clarkson people decided to "get the hell out of here" and left.

Too bad they couldn't have gone to our Pizza Hut and contracted an 'accidental' case of food poisoning. :-D

Actually...I was in Applebee's that night, and watched as the Nickerson's came in, and watched several Cornell players, mainly # 15, do nothing but attempt to instigate. I was so ashamed to be a Big Red fan, I never attended another game.

BettyJo: Was #15 wearing his jersey at Applebees? Or do you know Dan Pegoraro personally? :-O

I know who he is, because my son used to play hockey with him.

They do take their helmets off from time to time, so their identities aren't really a secret

I had heard it was the Abbotts who were there, so I wondered if BettyJo got the sweater number wrong. Actually, although it makes me sad to think that our players were classless in this case, at least it makes me feel better that Clarkson players were not roaming around town looking for fights.

The incident I saw involved the Abbotts and Carefoot (and families). The Cornell people were already at their table and did little or nothing to provoke the Clarkson people when they came in.

i'll trust age on this one. out of all of you, he's the most likely to have the incident carefully documented on his amazing camera.

Actually, according to Chris and Cam, they were having dinner with their families when Nickerson and his father came into the resturaunt. Nickerson and his father both tried to start a fight with Chris and Cam, inviting them to duke it out outside. I think I believe the Abbot boys on this one, since they were actually involved in the conversation. And they don't go roaming around town looking for fights.

yea, nickerson's dad also wanted to fight shafer for some comments made about his no-talent goon of a son. don't stick up for nickerson on this forum.

Interesting that you can't spell "Shafer" correctly. rolleyes

True that Nickerson had too many penalties this season but anyone saying the kid has "no talent" is simply incorrect.

Oh, and Nickerson wanted to fight "Shafer"? I suppose the coach told you this ?

Actually his father told McKee's parents that. His father has a rep. for taking his son out party. I would thing the McKees would know since there sons used to play together.
