I was actually rooting for Clarkson and Quinny to make it this year. Both schools have good travelling fanbases and it would have been nice to see the arena getting closer to capacity.

I really don't think that fan presence is taken into account when determining TUCs for PWR, certainly not to a significant enough extent to actually flip any comparisons.Trotsky

A sincere thanks, Drew. Many of us here know what that feeling is like not making it to the league final 4 with the quality team you have.
Pretty stunning that there has only been 1 year in the past 11 where Cornell and Clarkson have both made the ECAC final four, and never in Albany (butting heads in earlier rounds makes it tough). The way I see it, we're two fanbases that deserve each other's company this time of year. There's enough beer in Albany for both of us one of these years...

Ugh! The sad part is that that's how I actually read "TUC" in Greg's original post.

I'd prefer Worcester, myself, since I have family up that way, but I'd take Albany (or Madison or Colo. Springs)

Good point. One case in which "2 weekends in Albany" is actually a good thing. Hell, if we win this weekend, and the selection committee sees fit to put us in Albany for the regionals, I might just stay the week.
