For those of you who haven't had a subscription recently, the annual price for ESPN+ has increased by 40% (from $50 to $70) since January. It's $7 a month. The ESPN/Disney/Hulu bundle is $13 a month, and I use those services enough to find the fee to be worth it.

Also worth noting, if you watch the NHL, that ESPN+ will have something like 75 exclusive games a year, and those games won't be available on regular TV even if it's your local team.

ESPN+ for the next 8 years. Great news for those of us who don’t live near any ECAC arenas.

That's nothing. Grape Nuts were $4.29 yesterday vs. $2.69 a year ago.

This seems like an overt, collusive oligopoly to me. It shouldn't be legal. Is it?

Though I'm planning to try Fubo in the month leading up to the Frozen Four, I'm thinking this may mean the monthly rates could easily rise. (I hope the link will get forum readers past the paywall.)
