Sorry if it is early for this, or if this is elsewhere and i missed it, but is there any speculation on what line combination Shafer will be using this year?  I am excited- as i think we all are- for the freshmen forwards.  thoughts on where they will be used?

I don't think anyone has a clue what the lines will be.  There are no combinations  held over from last year except the Mugford-Kennedy-Scott line which I doubt will remain in tact.  I'm hoping Schafer uses the freshmen forwards more like he did in the 02-03 season than he did last year.  With the two new defensemen, that tells us that it is unlikely that any of the forwards will be moving back, at least to start.  If I had to guess, it would look like this:

Milo-Bitz-Scott
Barlow-Gallagher-Sawada
Greening-Kennedy-McCutcheon
Mugford-Fontas-Carefoot
