Adam Morrison is on waivers.  The Coyotes are likely to call up LeNeveu from San Antonio.
Mike Morrison.  Yotes could call up Phillipe Sauve as well - he has a bit more NHL experience.

LeNeveu was officially called up today.  Morrison went unclaimed on waivers and was sent down.

He's in goal tonight and doing well. He has 1 goal allowed on 23 shots as the Yotes lead the Oilers 5-1.

Final score 6-2 PHX last night.  Lenny stopped 32 of 34, and got the first star.

There's a post-game video clip of him on the Coyotes website.

After the bit of coverage we saw about that guy in Montreal being the first player in the NHL to wear #84, the last two-digit number never worn in the NHL, SI's Brian Cazeneuve wrote a short article about the best player to wear each number in the NHL.  Joe makes the cut for #25, Dryden for #29.  Doug Murray is not yet the greatest wearer of #41, but I have no doubt he'll pass Stu Barnes within a couple years.  ::rock::

Edit:  No other school had more than one player listed.

Lenny was solid in his first game.  Let in a weak goal to F. Pisani but that was after making two great saves on breakaways by A. Hemsky.  He had no chance on the second goal.  Gretzky has already indicated that he has the hot hand and will be starting versus the Rangers on Saturday night.

CowbellGuy

Guess he'll get 2 wins in a row. *sob*

Hmm...he needs to work on his post-game interview cliches.

C'mon, Lenny...by next month, I want you to master "we're just going to take it one game at a time..." and some version of "hard work" and "we never quit."

Yeah, I thought the same thing.  Can't help but picture Nuke LaLouche everytime I see an interview.

Anybody know if Kevin Costner is available to help Lenny with this aspect of his development? :-P
