Cornell refunds credit card money if asked, not automatically? If so, on the one hand it's kind of scummy ... on the other hand, if you're graduated and earning a living, what's an extra thirty bucks in Cornell's coffer versus yours? Declare it a donation.

Still annoyed? Call 800-771-7755 and ask for Eliot.

KeithK

It's always been refunds only if asked.  Fans are encouraged to consider it a donation to the Cornell hockey program.  Pretty week, IMO, but then I never had a problem asking either.

well the donation may go to the person whose tickets I purchased :)
going to call them tomorrow or wednesday. thanks guys :)

I spoke briefly with Gene, and he needs the "hard" ticket back - i.e., mail the ticket back to him and he'll issue you a refund.

why is he afraid we're going to use it to sneak into a game this year? ::screwy::

No, but you could theoretically mail it to someone else to return for the money, thus double-dipping.  It's not impossible to keep track of which seats have been returned, but requiring the hard ticket at least makes it much easier for them to avoid that potential fraud.
