Now which school would you have expected to be first to charge for Internet broadcast of its athletic events:  OSU or Cornell?

According to a USCHO poster, there will be two OSU broadcasts on the web for free.  The other one is:

Apparently the games are on the AM feed.  Here's the link to their schedule:

When I get a chance, I'm planning to make a page with links to all of the free broadcasts of Cornell hockey games by our opponents.

John, that would be wonderful.  You'll save me and many others a lot of time.

Yep, thanks, John.  We shall overcome.::rolleyes::

It'll be interesting to see just how many games will be available from opponents' feeds. But, I assume it won't be possible to catch every Cornell game in a given month this way, so I'm just going to concede defeat and pay the price (although I may reduce my future donations as a sign of my displeasure). Are other's really not going to bite the bullet and pay for the Pass? Additionally, I don't think I could listen to second-rate homers for the opposition all the time --I'd much rather listen to our new first-rate (hopefully) homer for Cornell. :-)

What was that slogan from the spanking of the Tripolitan pirates?  Something like "Millions for war, but not one cent for tribute.":-(

kay. Maybe I'm asking a dumb question - but is the game 7:05 Eastern time? It gets kinda weird in the Midwest with some people following and some people deviating from daylight savings time practices. Happy listening y'all. Yay! Another season of Big Red hockey! I'm ready for the face off!

Columbus is on Eastern Standard Time -- same as New York and east coast folks -- so the game time remains "7:05".

I apologize if this has already been discussed in another thread.  Does anyone know why Cornell didn't schedule a second game this weekend...either at Findley or some other place?  Or even two games against OSU?  Heck, we could have even had a game in Ithaca on Sunday (i.e. what Princeton is doing with home and away this weekend).

I know that we are of course limited in the number of games we can play, but having driven from Ithaca to Columbus in the past, I can atest that is a long trip....especially for just one game.

Any thoughts?

i think that you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned limited number of games. can't see much other reason than that.

with the BU series and  the everblades tourney there aren't many other non-conference games left.

Is the mIrc Chat still active and will anyone be on tonight?  If so, I may need a refresher on how to log in.  It's been a long offseason.
