It's quite alright to hate another team more than your rival. In the early 90's, we always knew Harvard was the "rivalry" game. But, by the end of 4 years and a few heartbreaking losses later, my friends and I truly hated SLUt much more than Harvard.
Good point.  It doesn't matter how inconsequential our meetings are, I do and likely always will hate Union.  Everything -- the fans, the team, the style, the unis, the rink (well, no, I actually kinda like Achilles).  I just hate 'em.  They're Ron Fairly to our Tom Seaver.  Despise 'em.

I'd wear a Huck Farvard shirt.  Good idea.

I just hate their shemale superfan.

The worst.  And how it rings the cowbell in your face if you say anything to it. ;-)

Interesting choice you made here.

I recall Fairly as a classy guy whereas Seaver could be pretty arrogant and self-absorbed at times.

If you're a Mets fan, I assume, I'd suggest "your" Ron Swoboda versus "their" Steve Carlton.

Well, the analogy I was trying to draw was of an insignificant irritant who had a nasty habit of popping up just... when...

Hmmmmm....

I cherish my button from many years ago that says  "My two favorite teams are CORNELL  and who ever is playing HARVARD"  Does anyone know what year someone sold them for $ 1 ?
