Just tried to get on and it says "Too many open hosts used for abuse. Run identd and contact your ISP."

What is identd and how do I run it?

it should be build into your irc client, but if you're behind a router you'll have to forward the port (139 maybe? I forget)

It worked last night when I tested it though... just doesn't seem to work now.

I know I'm a little late, but Identd is port 113. If IRC is requiring it and you're behind a router, you need to forward port 113. If you have a firewall, you need to open port 113. Hopefully that helps.
