Kate and I are both registered users logged in from the same machine, that shouldn't count.

To be fair, they were announcing for the benefit of Brown fans. And I know from last year that Dell can really be a horrible ref, so he very well may have been quite incosistent.

On the other hand, they did go to far. I was a little upset when they started moaning about the great ECAC conspiracy to have Cornell not lose so that the ECAC would be represented high in the polls. ::screwy::

As for the game itself, I'm a little nervous on how we aren't killing these teams. Colgate seems to have killed both Yale and Brown, and we had two very hard fought games. For people who were there, are we playing down compared to last week? Are Brown and Yale getting better? Is Colgate just doing well because they've already played a few weeks.
I don't want to whine about a four point weekend, but it will get harder. It was nice to see our guys not give up and stick it to them when it counts.

It might be that Cornell has a huge target on their back and they should get used to seeing the absolute best effort of every team every night. Colgate might be benefiting from a letdown on the non-Cornell night.

These results are not that surprising to me.  Last year, we struggled on our first two road trips (MSU then Dartmouth/Vermont).  We actually came out 0-2-2 last year from those road games.  Since I could not personally see them play, I dont know if we are just not playing well or if these teams are better.  But I think the results have to do something with the first road games of the season.

listened to the end of the game...close one for sure. let the team learn from these close games/ the loss now to be solid as the season progresses

A few things.

1.  We have no idea what the power balance of the league will be this year.  For all we know,  Cornell just swept two bye teams on the road.

2.  Yes, of cours,e EVERY

Is that a season recap or a play by play?:-P

There were actually Brown band members in the building toward the end of the game.  They came and chatted with us.  Nice kids.  They say they might come to Ithaca when those games roll around.

The reason they didn't play tonight was that the football team was on the road this weekend, and they don't have the numbers to split the band like we do.
