And sometimes at the cost of your grip on the beater.

Just out of curiosity, was it as bad when I was doing it? Often at the cost of precision, I always tried to be as loud as possible with it. Wondering if it's more of a timing or volume issue.[/q]

Through no fault of Age's, once the clapping started, I could never hear the Cowbell rhythm down in D/E. It was always just general clanging. I only knew when to say 'fight' cause I would count to 16 (or, well, count to 4 four times) on the beats. But that only worked ~50% of the time on the first time through cause you would often miss the first beat or two and so no be able to count it out (and again, you couldn't tell by the bell cause it was just a generally clanging sound). Got it 95% of the time the second time through though, timing from the first 'Fight'.

It's definitely a volume issue, not a timing thing, but short of a megaphone or a PA system hookup, there's nothing to be one about it. And with Lynah's PA system, I wouldn't even bet on that.

That's why doing it near D once a game or so would be a good idea. If there's ever a day where the Lynah ushers leave their god-complex at home < sigh >

That's it!  We need an electric cowbell with an amplifier!

canuck89

Been sounding good!  Just louder if anything, though, I know you really can't do much more about that (Section D as suggested above?).

Robb

Or 10 cowbells played in unison at warp speed by high schoolers with a drum beat to keep them together (a la UVM's band)...

I think whoever's playing the cowbell should really just explore the space with it.

Uh-oh...here comes the poker spam!

Within limits, a cowbell is like sex or Rock 'n' Roll Glitter. There is no bad cowbell cheer.

I kinda like "the Whale", am hoping to get up there this season. [/q]"Isn't sold" <> "isn't consumed," whether before or during.

Maybe that's what the announcer meant about a three-line pass not being offsides at Clarkson - blue line, red line, yellow line.

Call AAA before starting out from Clarkson to "get up" to Ingalls. Most maps show one would be traveling south or down. Or did you mean moving up socially?

IIRC, RichS lives in the DC area, so all ECAC rinks are "up" for him...

Just kidding, but it was one of those opening lines that just couldn't be resisted.
