Hey all,

I missed the line last year due to RA duties, but this year I will definitly be more careful how I plan things.  I was still able to make to every game, thankfully! :-D

I was just hoping to get some details/advice from those of you that have done it or may have inside info.  When will we know when the line starts, and where will it be?  Also, is 4 still the maximum block that we can make?

Thanks for helping out one of Lynah's loudest!

(Keeping super-secret plan to himself) :-P

Just kidding.  Plan on being on central with a radio and a computer.

Looks like we got the next Greg Berge '85 on our hands here.
I'm the one who views hockey games merely as something to do before going to Rulloff's and Dino's.

speaking of which....where outside would one be able to pick up a wireless signal on central? :)

The areas outside libraries should have wireless.  Or just sit at a computer inside and hit refresh every ten  seconds for two and a half hours.

Interesting...CIT is doing some work this weekend; unspecified sites will be down.  I feel better about the radio announcement.

My money is on 11:29 Saturday.  Somebody should organize a pool.

Here is the official announcement:

Good luck to everyone, I'm an alum and won't be part of the madness.

Anyone have any idea where the location will be?

Beeeej

Yes.  I think it's a reasonable assumption that it will be on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY.

CornellBigRed.com is hosted by a commercial provider, and should not be affected by this weekend's planned power outage at Rhodes Hall.

WVBR is the official radio source for the info, and will be broadcasting it immediately. There's more info at http://wvbr.com/ and there'll be updates there as available.

That outage will get in the way of the email announcement, won't it?

mha

If the announcement goes out during that outage, yes, it will.

So perhaps it won't be Saturday night, unless they want to see who the real hockey fans are:  those people who won't be drunk & at Johnny O's but instead ready, in their cars, listening to the radio.  Not that I have a problem with that. B-]

Beeeej[/q]Really?  I thought the evil Athletic Department was much more creative than that.  I can see Andy Nowell right now, scheming up ways to screw the students.  For this year, I predict Cass Park.  Next year, maybe Carousel Mall.  Or why not Lake Placid?
