6 seconds, flag on the field against Cornell

Tub(a)

Stupid penalty by CU... 6 seconds left for Towson to take a TO and try one last shot.

Worst case scenario.  Clean face off loss, penalty.  6 seconds left with Towson man up.

DeltaOne81

not so stupid,  better than letting up a rush... 6 seconds isn't a ton of time for the man up, it's plenty to score though...

GAME OVER!! McMonagle with a HUGE save at the end and tosses it in the air!! Bring on Duke!

Al DeFlorio

Maryland tied us in the 1976 championship game when they were given the ball on a strange call with 6 seconds left.  Felt like deja vu all over again.  Thankfully NOT.

Cornell plays Duke on Sunday, May 22, at either noon or 3:00, at Princeton.  I haven't seen which time yet.

Tom Pasniewski 98

UMass leading Syracuse 7-4 at the half.

Georgetown defeated Army 16-6

Cornell and the Syracuse-UMass winner will be the only two teams north of Baltimore left in the tourney.

So far, it does look like we are the only ones that pulled the 'upset'.  But you gotta believe Syracuse isn't going down without a fight in the second half.

Syracuse put up a fight--tying it at 15--but a late goal wins it for UMass.  The streak is over--and Hopkins fans breathe a sigh of relief.
