Minnesota really tries to spread the ice and our a lot better passes than Cornell.  Then again I see Minnesota making lots of cross ice passes in the first period so I would think that would be an affect of the larger ice surface.  Overall Minnesota is faster and is making more crisp passes than Cornell rather than the affect of the ice.

Main affect of large ice would be McKee being out of position but that is not happening at all.

It does sound like the Gophers have a serious transition game, but again part of my perception may be the crowd's excitement every time they break out of their zone.

difference on the rushes is that Cornell does not just shoot it when it is 2-3 while minnesota will shoot almost every single time.

It sounds like there have been more board battles lately; we have to like that.

Also, the Minny announcers are saying how proud they are of the Gophers "flawless effort."  If that is true, we have to be proud.

I'm hearin' a cowbell in the background....:-D
"What... is your favorite color?"  "Blue. No, yel--auuuuugh!"

well cant say I seen Minnesota this year but they are suppose to have a good offense and so-so defense.  They look pretty good defensively, but our team could clearly be playing better than they have been playing.

Shots only 8-6 bad guys in this period.  Clearly sounds like we are doing much better of late.

We are playing our game this period instead of the gophers type of game that is why this period has been a lot better.

Minny announcer says "I like that Krantz, he's a pretty good defenseman ... and he's only a freshman."

Rare praise for a Cornell player by these clowns.

CU's game is summed up as A) patient defense and B) great goaltending
We need to be proud.   They're not over-extending in the offensive end.
