"What... is your favorite color?"  "Blue. No, yel--auuuuugh!"

Come on, keep it together.  We can take this.

These jokers (the announcing team, that is), never tell you how much time is left.  How lame.

Dang, another CU penalty with 4:00 in second.  Well, time for another shorty!

Nice saves by McKee and it is still tied up at 1

scoop85

killed the penalty, but lots of chances.  McKee sounds spectacular.

Cornell now has a dangerous flurry in the Minnesota end, but Briggs holds on.

1-1 at the 2nd intermission.

Period over. We really started to get in the game as the period developed.

End of 2, 1-1.  We have 1:40 of powerplay to start the 3rd.

We're weathering a serious storm.  20 minutes of regulation left and we are still alive.

We sounded a bit stronger in the 2nd, so hope we can ratchet it up in the 3rd and steal this one.

Anyone's game, it's just one period long now.

scoop the second period was really pretty much even.  Yes, Minnesota had more shots and lots more chances because of their were on the PP a lot, but Cornell held it in there zone quite a bit but could not generate any shots from it.

For those watching, how (if at all) is our game being affected by the larger ice surface vs. the effect of Minnesota's speed and passing skills?
