It looks like somebody heard us in the local Time Warner office.

:-)

"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Kinda funny that the player pictured is a member of Cornell's women's team.

This is like CSTV last week...

USCHO members from a number of teams have been email bombing TW Cable Albany all week and they agreed to show the entire weekend of hockey.  They even put a graphic up on their main website at http://www.timewarnercable.com/albany/ !!

This is the schedule:

I promise you, they are showing the Cornell game on Ch3 at 6pm EST.  The game before the Cornell game on Channel 3?  Minnesota/Maine!  So no need to worry!

Don't email Time Warner!

Does anyone in the Albany area know of a bar that will be showing the game on Saturday?  The poor law student who can't afford cable wants to watch the Big Red.

I would try Jillian's...they're usually willing to spare a TV during the late afternoon but their drinks are not cheap...channel 1 and 3 are available on all cable packages so any bar with cable (Bomber's?  Huge, cheap Burrito's!  Give 'em a call!  258 Lark St. 463-9636) will work.

Game on!  BC and Mercyhurst is on Channel 3 right now!

Yeah, I am equally surprised they capitulated like this!  I've never seen them pick up an entire tournament...it must have been really cheap and about the cost of 10 people switching to the dish.  ;-)

The ARC in Watervliet will likely do it.  Call ahead, but they said they can get anything on DirectTV when I asked on Thursday.  It's a very old fashioned "beer garden" neighborhood watering hole converted to a sports bar.  There will be squeek ball fans for sure.

I called Jillians on Pearl St., and they said they would be showing the game.  Just a heads up to those in the area who want to come down and relive last weekend.
