Hi..
I got the xmi feed going from work.. they had some of the warm-ups (camera trained pm centered ice), now its the ecachl promo video clips. the bands are playing in the background. will xmi provide audio feed, and if so whose (cornell's? uvm or their own or cstv?) just curious.

let's go red!!!
(and for selfish reasons still hoping they end up in grand rapids:

So it isa 20 minutes to game time and the feed is already a little jerky, anyone want to wager how many minutes into the 1st period the server goes down? :-P

i'm so confused...did they just rewind the tape or something?  i get a blank screen now...

upperdeck

wonder what the real problem is.. CSTV streamed 10-15000 connections for the NCAA b-ball.. is XMI lacking equipment or access to bandwidth?

Tom14850

whoa....  super crappy....

I wrote the ECAC about two weeks ago saying I was very concerned that XMI would have trouble handling the traffic - given that they have occasional problems with a regular Cornell webcast with paying customers.  I've now lost both picture and sound.  It's a nefarious ECAC plot to get me to go to Albany next year.

yup...hopefully they're just working on the equipment and its not an indication of how the broadcast is going to be.  Looks like its trying to buffer and then just craps out.

Ok, every time I get booted (which is fairly often considering it's just the pregame) I have to buffer and stream about 5 minutes of the Cornell-Colgate pregame from Lynah.  Anyone else having this experience?  Maybe I should download the stream through the website one more time.

And the feed is dead on my end, too.

abmarks

mine went black too............

I tried the stream about an hour ago and they just had some old sample stuff up from what looked to be the quarterfinal series at Lynah.

And yes, my feed was working (choppily, considering I'm at school on a 100Mbps connection), but has now died.

Edit:  Now I have the color bars.
