Well, I think it really started against WMU early in the season.  One of their players, Dwyer, was really pissing us off, in that he was acting like a douchebag, so somehow a "Dwyer has syphilis" cheer started.  It pretty much disappeared, but somehow got brought back in game 1 last year as Nickerson was also acting like a douchebag.  So I made the sign for game 2, well, at least until athletics took it away in the 1st period.  From there, it's lived on, as the series has lived on in infamy.[/q]

Ah, I see. It would be so much funnier though if one of their players actually had syphilis. Ah well, we can only hope...
