Since we're in an intermission, let me just take this opportunity to say how much I'm enjoying this! I'm so glad I found this site. This is a lot more fun than what I used to do (which mostly involved me listening to an audio feed and staring blankly at my computer screen... beer was also involved). Needless to say, it's much more enjoyable posting with you guys while listening. Just wish I could have found ELynah before the start of the season!

Chris Abbott...

Talk about third period role...Defensive zone faceoffs...they're very important...gives a lot of credit to the coaching staff for scouting Colgate on that game winning rush

Have you learned tricks from Joe?  He has worked hard with the faceoff guys and Chris is confident all of their draw percentages have gone up.

Coach decided to put him back with his brother and he thinks they have chemistry but he can play with anybody.  Ray is a great player and opens up the ice with his big hits.

Too comfortable playing together last year with your brother?  Playing apart is good but it's nice to be back with his brother...their line won't be the prettiest line but they work extremely hard

Much better than last night.

DeltaOne81

SLU 1, Yale 1
Dmouth 2, Brown 1
Clarkson 2, Princeton 1
all after 2, it think

BTW, is anyone else PISSED that Minn can lose 7 out of their last 10 and still be tied for 2nd in PWR? There's a cliff between about 4/5/6th and 13th/14th/15th. They've gotta hit it at some point, right?!?

Edit: LSSU 2, OSU 1 - after 2
Edit2: UAF 2, NMU 0 - after 2
just keeping an eye on teams that are competing with us for sports, and with 'Gate/Dmouth/Vt for the final at large bids

By no means am I the voice of eLynah (just one of the louder voices and probably most annoying ;-) ) but I'm glad to have you here...the more the merrier...Syracuse game starts at 9pm, I'll bet $$ that you'll be watching  ;-)

Report from Lynah.
I just talked to a friend of mine at the game. We'd be discussing before i moved south how the crowd seemed dead for most of the games.
"Good game - the crowd is finally into it!"

So its more than just a louder mic :-D

It's the flaw of the PWR.  It overweights strength of schedule (IMO).  If the good teams keep playing each other, they all wind up with decent RPIs.  Then all they have do do is beat a few non-conference TUCs and they're all up there.  Even the awful teams from their conference wind up TUCs, and the good teams from the conference wind up in the top 10 of the PWR
