Warning. Random thought ahead:

When I see the heading for this topic, it reminds me of "tea with Miss McGill."

(At least it's a hockey-related quote.  Sort of.)

While Iggulden can't seem to win a draw, Gametracker has Topher Scott at 8 for 11.

[Q]One wonders why, if they can spell out "Massachusetts," they can't spell out "Niagara."[/Q]

It does boggle the mind.

But, a question from the clueless:  where exactly is "zone B"?

And Leclerc is now 12 out of 13.  Does he give lessons?

How can McLeod lose a faceoff if he's not listed on any of the lines?

Dunno, but he lost it during a McGill power-play.  Do we have a center with a similar number?

Chabot now in at goal?  Poor Davenport got in the game but didn't see any shots.  Heh.

And that'll do it. Guess Yale just wasn't a very good 10th place team ;-)

Having made the trip from New Haven to Ithaca more times than I care to remember, I suspect taking that bus ride today didn't help McGill...along with playing a close game last night.  Still, a solid opening performance for the good guys.

And great to see two goals from a frosh who, at least in the line-ups, appeared to be centering the "big" line (Hynes and Moulson).  Another pint-sized "giant" to replace the one we lost to graduation?

Empty net for Maine.  Still 1-0 SLU.  Does this one count for the Commissioners' Cup? ::nut::

Edit:  It's over.  SLU holds on.  Last ten (or maybe twelve) shots-on-goal for Maine.
