haha....well I have to pay for being a Yankee fan somehow.

Thanks again Cornell for letting us watch. Wouldn't wanna be anywhere else

I know!  Let's blame everything on the fans who jingled their keys with 4 minutes left on Friday night!   ::screwy::

Win or lose I'll always be a diehard Lynah Faithful.  This team gave us more excitement than we expected for a rebuilding year, and I'm confident in our chances next season.  GO RED!!

DisplacedCornellian

Cornell doesn't rebuild, they just reload.

/got nothin'

Here's to an exciting season, with a great late season run to finish in 2nd.  Plenty for the team to build on

And wrestling.  NCAAs next week.  Turn the tables on Penn. Hopefully another title for Lee, this time at 133.

Well.............

What can I say? I haven't looked at all the threads yet to recap, but I was listening to the RPI game (they lost to Dartmouth 1-0 to lose that series), so I didn't know it came down to 5-1. Yes, I agree... VERY disappointing !  (at least it wasn't a shutout)

Weird series: each team got a 5-1 game, so it all came down to the one extra goal on Sat. night in that 5-4 loss.......  I don't care who wins in Albany now, as long as its not Harvard.

Just very wierd......we finally score 9 goals in two games, but still lose the series? Where the hell was the "D" when we needed it?...............  :-(

I was thinking something similar tonight.  I was almost about to say to the very cordial Clarkson fans (in other words, not like the assholes in section O) sitting in front of me in section G, "Whatever you do, just beat Harvard."

[Q]Mike put Salmela in as a seventh d-man just for the PP. That, unfortunately, means he doesn't have four full lines playing. [/Q]

Just reading through the game thread for the hell of it.........Actually, Salmela played a little non PP time as a forward. I noticed this because I saw Salmela deep in the offensive zone and looked back to the blue line, where Downs and O'Byrne were standing.

If I heard Adam right, Salmela took a third period faceoff, too.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but are you sure that didn't happen right after the end of a PP?

In any case, it was weird to see Salmela playing instead of Pegs or even McLeod.  Don't get me wrong, I think Salmela is a fine player, but only as a defenseman.

I am 100% positive that Salmela was used as a forward for one or two non-PP-related shifts. And I think both times, this happened in the 3rd period. They had to try something for God's sake!

Horatio Hornblower

how do you come out that flat 2 games in a row in the playoffs?

maybe mckee had a bet on the game

Maybe you're an idiot.

Assuming those two shifts were towards the end of the game, I guess you're right.  At that point, anything would have worked.
