Jon Pelle has just committed to Harvard.  Like Vesce, he's 5'8 and like Vesce he is from Long Island plays for New York Applecore.  He is second in the EJHL in scoring with 26-32-58 in 34 games.  He chose Harvard over Clarkson, Yale, Cornell, and Vermont.
This all according to USHR.com.
Tough loss and even tougher because it's Harvard.
Interesting that Cornell still seems to be looking at forwards despite the fact that they will have 16 next year as of right now.

Greg Berge

Which may have something to do with his choice.

I thought Topher Scott was the next Vesce. ;-)

He's the next Kyle Knopp.

We'll have to drill into him how big a mistake he made next year, both at Lynah and at Lynah East.

"Who's the next Charles Barkley?"
"WHO?!"

Is next year here yet?

Actually, the next Vesce is Billy Vesce, Ryan's brother

It doesn't appear that the stats are Ryan-like, but hopefully he'll be a late bloomer.

Still hurts that Chris Higgins chose Yale.
