Jordan 04

Mike Meech with the game-winner.

3:30 time of the goal.

Cornell defender was caught pinching in leading to an odd-man rush.

And obviously, not cashing in on 4 PP's in the final 10 minutes or so hurts a lot.

These guys are simply awful to listen to.
I have to say, aside from the whining (which is considerable) these guys are actually a very good team on the nuts and bolts of the game.  The call on the game winning goal was very well done.

Well, Dartmouth lost too, so overall we still have the edge in the ECAC in pts/gm (since Brown has played alot more games).  This will hurt in PWR as long as Brown is a TUC, but the Dartmouth game in 2 weeks will still be important in this regard.  Overall, a close and tough game.

I still think, as they head back home for 9 home games in the remaining 14, that the team is in a good situation compared to what most of us have hoped for.  We're still at the top of the ECAC and can hopefully get on another great spring run.  If things work out right, we still have a chance of a good enough PWR to be an at-large team, but the main goal should be winning in Albany.

hey guys

it was nice listening to adam on the way back to ithaca. outcome sucked...adam mentioned that he was laughing at the brown announcers at the point of the penalty call and they thought he was laughing at the call. the brown announcers do call a technically good game, just a little homerish is all :)

i am looking forward to the home games next weekend.

My comments on the game:

- Danis is a good goaltender, but in this game, he was not the great goaltender that his previous numbers may tout him to be.  He came up lucky on more than a few bounces of the puck.  At least in this game, I don't think he stood on his head any more than McKee did.  (To be fair, McKee also got lucky on a few bounces.)
- I have to learn to stop underestimating Brown's newfound offense this year.  They had a hard time getting real control of the puck in our zone in the first period (except on the power play where they scored--that was a real rarity for that period), but for the rest of the game, they came out strong on offense.
- Whoever arranges the canned music at Meehan needs to be taken out and shot.
- When did Brown obtain a goon squad?

Is next year here yet?

Shit!  Panthers win.  Does this mean after the Packers beat the Eagles that the NFC Championship will be in Carolina?

Looks like the gods don't look too kindly on woofing in football either...   ::nut::  :-D

Brown has always had a goon squad.  Whoever yelled "Everytime we play them, someone gets hurt" (Mike?) was right on.
"They do all kind of just blend together into one giant dildo."
