For those of us who cannot get to Boston this weekend, I'd like to suggest gathering at Ship of Fools at 82nd and 2nd.  As others have posted before, they've been very open to showing college hockey on some screens, and it definitely shouldn't be a problem with no competing football playoffs.  If I hear of enough people ahead of time, I'll call ahead and see if we can get it on one of the big screens with sound.

Let me know (either via e-mail or on this thread) if you're interested so I can give them a heads up.  Perhaps we can get the back of the bar just for Cornellians or something to that effect.

I'll be there; most likely with a few others as well...

See ya then, Lowell.

I'll be there, probably with a few Cornell and non-Cornell alums.   Ship of Fools it is.  Nice to have an 8pm start time too!  It makes it a little easier.

Was at Ship of Fools for the Everblades tourney. Will be there again this rockin' Friday.

Count me in, I was going to go to both games, then got a new job in the city that I couldn't pass by.

I've spoken to the manager at Ship of Fools and we are good to go for the game on Friday night.  They're reserving the main room for us with a big screen (and if I remember correctly, a few others as well).  It seems we're being taken care of quite well.  I think there'll be a bunch of tables with cards on them that say either my name or "Cornell."  Come on in.  I told him to expect about 30 people; give me a heads up if you think you're going so I can see if we need to add to that.

Hey Lowell,
I should be there, along with one Morgan Grey.  I would've made the trip up to Boston, but I figured that taking 2 days off from work plus paying for bus/train fare to Ithaca or Boston wasn't worth it.

I have a work happy hour at 6 pm at 93rd and 3rd.  That should get me good and sauced in time for faceoff.  Count on me being there too.

Lowell,
I'll be there, too...sounds like the group shouldn't be hard to find.  I haven't seen a Cornell game since last year's national semis, so I'm looking forward to it!

Thanks for organizing this.

Certainly was.  ~40+ people watching and cheering.  Thanks to Lowell and Jason for making reservations.
