Everblades 2004

Getting way ahead of myself, but just read on a post in USCHO (i know, not the most reliable source) that next year, OSU will be hosting their own holiday tourny (and thus won't be in Everblades).

It goes on to say that the field will be Cornell, Maine, St. Cloud, and BC.

This was probably posted here before and I simply missed it, but can anyone confirm?

That's an impressive field of teams. I do remember hearing a while back that BC would definitely be at the Everblades next year. I'll try and figure out where I heard that from. On the other hand, I didn't know about the St Cloud/OSU switch.

EDIT: I remembered :-). During last year's Maine/Cornell game, the Maine radio announcers said that the field for 2004 would be:

Cornell vs. Boston College
Maine vs. Ohio State

Perhaps since then, Ohio State decided to host their own tournament.

From the USCHO message board (so I don't stand by its accuracy...):

"The OSU holiday tourney is (at this point in time) a one year event. OSU must host a tourney in the Schottenstein Center to qualify the building for the 2005 Frozen Four. They opted out of the Everblades tourney next year with the option to return in 2005."

I've been to OSU campus.  Schottenstein is an amazing building, they really should host a tournament there to take advantage of its huge seating capacity and nice facilities for teams.  
That said, BC and St. Cloud State would just be an amazing set of teams to play in florida.

I very much like the idea of a guaranteed game against BC.  IMHO, we don't play enough games against HE teams each year.  (Although, with only seven NC games, I guess that's what's gonna happen.)
